Duneska Suannette is an artist and educator of Dominican descent currently residing in New York City. Her practice, and work as an educator directly influence one another dealing with concepts such as home and education with a strong emphasis on intersectionality. She is currently working and teaching at the Museum of Arts and Design, as well as the Children's Museum of the Arts, and has experience teaching in both schools in Uptown Manhattan, as well as within gallery, and museum spaces.
